Terms
  • Set your real name, surname, and phone number. Choose one of the categories (Wedding, Couples, Maternity, Newborn, Kids, Family, Portrait), and set your rates. Upload precisely 20 photos corresponding to the chosen category (you will be able to unlock more categories later). After that, your profile will be automatically submitted for approval by our moderators. Usually, it takes a couple of days.
  • It's absolutely free and will always be.
  • Nope. You can have only one account.
  • Please use your real name. People that see your beautiful photos will want to know who's made them. There’s no need to hide behind the alias.
  • Do you enjoy checking out beautiful shots in high quality? So do we! Please upload photos with a resolution of at least 2400 pixels on the long side to make them look fine even on big displays.
  • When joining MyWed, you can upload 20 photos, and then – 2 photos per week. You can extend the limit up to 7 photos per week by purchasing the MyWed Pro account.
  • Yes, we do. All new photographers are subject to moderation (usually, it takes 1–2 working days). MyWed editors can decline your portfolio by deleting all or any photos if they do not comply with the MyWed Terms, do not correspond to the category they are uploaded to, or if your level of visual and technical skills is not high enough.
  • Please, upload photos corresponding to the following categories only: Wedding, Couples, Maternity, Newborn, Kids, Family, Portrait. Upload the photos only to the categories they comply with. Please note, we estimate the compliance based on the subject depicted in the photo. If you took a person's portrait at the wedding, you are not supposed to upload the photo to the Wedding category but you can upload it to the Portrait category.
  • Nope. Collages, diptychs, triptychs as well as photomontage and digital effects are not allowed. Besides, we don’t like photos with an excessive quantity of design elements or added in design objects, borders, texts, huge watermarks or logos. Genuine photos are awesome – don’t you think so?
  • Photos that show images of pornography or have visual content of an offensive, slanderous or extremist nature are not allowed as well.
  • Photos taken at workshops and staged events are not allowed, even if you were a speaker there.
  • We think that another photographer won’t be particularly happy about it. You can only upload photos that you took yourself. Also, don’t forget about the rights of the people who are present in your shots.
  • The rating of a photo depends on the number of likes. However, not all likes are equally effective. The higher the rating of a photographer who liked the photo, the more rating the like adds to the photo. Photos and series with the biggest number of likes are awarded the Best of the Week flag. Rating gradually decreases, and the yellow flag may disappear over time. The higher was the rating of a photo or a series, the longer it keeps the yellow flag.
  • The Editors' Choice red flags are given to photos liked by our editors and at their own discretion. Those are just the photos we take a liking to and would like to attract your attention to. Our opinion and taste sense may not conform with yours, and we do not consider our choice the only right. Please note that our editors guarantee to look through works of the MyWed Pro users only. The rest of the photos is revised as far as possible.
  • In general, a photographers' rating in each category consists of the rating of their 100 best photos and 20 best series in the category. The fresher the photo or the series, the more rating it adds to the photographer's rating. Photos and series with the Editors' Choice flag, and achievements in the MyWed Award annual contests contribute to the rating as well. Rating in each category is calculated separately. It means that a photographer's rating in the Wedding category does not influence their rating in the Kids category. Besides, the number of followers adds points to the photographer's rating, too.
  • Any obvious or hidden calls to like or to take a look at the photo or profile will be considered as a rating cheat. They include, for example, such comments or messages as "Hey, great shots! Just rated them!", etc. Moreover, if you like photos with the only purpose of receiving mutual likes, we also consider it as a rating cheat. In brief, if you do anything on the website to get more rating instead of just having pleasure, please don't.
  • Nope, you are not allowed to do so, otherwise, we remove your profile without notification. If you would like to promote your goods in the photographers' community, please email us to info@mywed.com and we will find an appropriate collaboration option.
